November 2009

• The first Yoga-Recess Online Training for school teachers providing guidance on how to incorporate yoga-based exercise segments into a classroom is scheduled for January 14, 2010.
  
  
• Yoga Health Foundation is sending out first set of DVDs to school teachers who have requested to include yoga into their classroom.

October 2009

• Yoga Health Foundation is partnering with Leah Kalish from Yoga Playgrounds and Abby Willis from Shanti Generation to bring yoga health education into schools.

September 2009

• Over 1,100 events and donation classes (many for at-risk children and youth) are held nationwide as part of the National Yoga Month awareness campaign.

January 2009

• Yoga Health Foundation announces National Yoga Month and encourages local yoga teachers to offer free yoga classes during National Yoga Month 09.2009 for at-risk children.

September 2008

• Yoga Health Foundation partners with Boys and Girls Club to offer free yoga classes for at-risk children during National Yoga Month September 2008
